2013 Château d'Arche
Pale golden. Tropical, lighter and elegant nose. Fresh acidity, lively, fresh, elegant, nuanced, bit leaner but refreshing, long. 90-91

2013 Château Bastor-Lamontagne
Pale golden. Citrus, minerals, pineaplles nose, not the most intense. Fresh acidity, lively, fresh, fruity if a bit lean, fresher style BL. 87-89

2013 Château Broustet
Pale golden. Some apricots, fruity and yellow plums nose, fresh. Fresh acidity, lively, fruity, elegant, bit easy going, elegant. 87-89

2013 Château Coutet
Pale golden. Tropical, minerals, apples and intense pineapples nose, layered. Fresh acidity, lively, delicate, detailed, superb balance, fresh and elegant, very long. Superb wine. 94-96

2013 Château Doisy Daëne
Pale golden. Touch of burnt sugar below apricots, pineapples and fresh fruits, slight mineral note beneath. Fresh acidity, lively, fresh, elegant, gives more on the palate, fresh and delicate, very long. 93-95

Pale golden. Fruity, rounde, pineapples nose. Fresh acidity, lively, fresh, fruity, detailed and refreshing, playful and long. 91-93

2013 Château de Fargues
Pale golden. Apples, tropical, pineapples, fresh, floral and layered nose. Fresh acidity, lively, fresh, delicate, especially for Fargues, nuanced, lovely balance, refined, fantastic length. 95-97

2013 Château Filhot
Pale golden. Apples, pears, botrytis, light nose. Fresh acidity, fresh, fruity, lively, bit short. 87-89

2013 Château Guiraud
Pale golden. Orange blossoms, apricots, honey fruity, vanilla and floral nose. Almost minerals. Fresh acidity, lively, fresh, fruity, elegant and refined, long. 93-95

2013 Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey
Pale golden. Floral, fruity, apricots, pineapples, intense and detailed nose. Fresh acidity, lively, fresh and fruity, detailed and elegant but a bit short in this company. (Tasted twice) 91-93

2013 Château Lamothe
Pale golden. Easy going and fruity nose. Fresh acidity, lively, refreshing if leaner, fairly detailed, good length. 88-90

2013 Château Liot
Pale golden. Apples, light tropical note nose. Fresh acidity, light, fairly fresh, fruity if leaner. 85-87

2013 Château de Malle
Pale golden. Apricots, vanilla, light nose. Fresh acidity, lively, fresh and fruity, elegant if a bit easy going. Gives pleasure. 87-89

2013 Château de Myrat
Pale golden. Apples and pineapples nose. Fruity. Fresh acidity, lively, crisp, fresh and detailed, elegant and refreshing, good length. 89-91

2013 Château Nairac
Pale golden. Pineapples, popcorn, citrus and vanilla nose. Fresh acidity, fresh and lively, fruity, elegant, bit leaner, playful, long. 92-94

2013 Château de Rayne Vigneau
Pale golden. Pears, cinamon, apples and vanilla nose. Fresh acidity, lively, fresh and detailed, elegant and refreshing, nuanced. Long finish. 93-95

2013 Château Rieussec
Pale golden. Apricots, fruity, richer nose, vanilla. Fresh acidity, lively, richer fruit and body for the vintage, fruity, lacks some nuances and refinement maybe, long. 91-93

2013 Château Romer
Pale golden. Easy going, fresh and fruity nose. Fresh acidity, lively, leaner, fresh, good length. 86-88

2013 Château Sigalas-Rabaud
Pale golden. Apples, pineapples and vanilla nose. Fresh acidity, lively, fruity, fresh, rounded, bit short after beautiful fruit mid palate. 90-92

2013 Château Suduiraut
Pale golden. Tropical, fresh, fruity, pineapples, layered, detailed notes. Fresh acidity, fruity, fresh, detailed, elegant, subtle Suduiraut, playful, nuanced, layerd, gorgeous. 95-97

2013 Château La Tour Blanche
Pale golden. Fruity, pineapples, floral, yellow plums, tropical touch nose. Fresh acidity, lively, fresh, rounded and elegant, lovely balance, detailed, long. 93-95

2013 Château d'Yquem
Pale golden. Apricots, vanilla, pineapples, pure, intense, superb nose, layered, detailed and complex. Fresh acidity, lively, pears, mouthwatering, again incredibly detailed and nuanced, elegant, refreshing, extremely long. 96-98

2013 Clos Haut Peyraguey
Pale golden. Apples, citrus, pineapples and vanilla nose. Fresh acidity, lively, fresh, fruity, elegant, bit short. 88-90

Christer has over 23 years of experience in wine, took WSET Level 2 in 2003, WSET Level 3 in 2005 and finished WSET Level 4 Diploma in 2011. Christer has worked for the Norwegian Vinmonopolet and for wine importers as product manager and in sales before becoming a wine critic. Christer has for years been an international wine judge. He tastes about 7500-8000 wines a year and is approaching 90.000 wines tasted, from all over the world. His web site BMyBordeaux is one of the worlds largest collections of tasting notes on Bordeaux. Scores and ratings, what do they mean?

Wines are scored for quality and quality only. For the bottle or sample that is tasted there and then, as that one is. Not peer group. Peer group tastings in my opinion make wines from lesser grapes or areas seem to be better than they actually are as the benchmark is lower, and most peer group tasters tend not to rate a wine perfectly within the group either, which makes it all a bit strange. I can't remember ever to have seen a rosé wine getting a perfect score as an example. Then it's not a true peer group taster in my opinion. Peer group tasting also make the truly great wines seem less great as something else regularly get similar scores even if the quality of the two is miles apart.

96-100 Great wine of spellbinding beauty and resonance, leaving the drinker with a sense of wonder

90-95 Outstanding wine of great beauty and articulacy

86-89 Very good wine with some outstanding features

83-85 Good wwine with no outstanding features

80-82Enjoyable but simple and straightforward

75-80 Sound but dull or boring wine with no character or appeal

Wines marked below this level will not be written about on this blogg, and should it happen, it won't be impressive anyway.

Some wines are more for competitions and to impress certain wine writers, so here is my view on a wines drinkability. if you are a human.
