Burgundy evening, excellent 99 Grivot Les Suchots, 96 Bousse d'Or and more


2004 Henri Boillot Meursault 1er Cru Les Cras:
Towards lemon yellow. Bit tight first, apples, citrus and minerals, some butter and smoky notes with air. Fresh acidity, rounded, lovely balance, fresh and quite crisp, mineraly finish, long. 92

2004 Rossignol-Trapet Latricieres-Chambertin:
Bright pale ruby, thin garnet rim. Red berries, slightly oaky behind and fairly clean nose, not as seductive as some. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, bit oaky palate, but less so with air, slightly firm, quite pure red berries fruit, long finish. 92


2001 Chantal Lescure Clos de Vougeot:
Ruby, garnet rim. Scented, red berries, floral with air, stil a bit oaky nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, bit cooked fruit with air, spicy and oaky finish, long. 90

1996 Domaine de la Pousse d'Or Volnay 1er Cru Clos de la Bousse d'Or:
Bright garnet, brick rim. Scented, floral, nuanced, red berries, starting touch of sous bois, layered and transparent nose, gorgeous. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, mouthwatering, again layered and nuanced, fresh and lively, just a bit short. I think the best Volnay I've had. 94


1999 Louis Jadot Sauvigny-Lès-Beaune Les Hauts Jarrons:
Bright ruby, garnet rim. Red berries and scented nose, developong, not too complex. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity and elegant, bit short. 88

1999 Jean Grivot Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Suchots:
Ruby. Incredibly scented nose, floral, quite intense and open, red berries, some vanilla, mint notes, gorgeous nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, lively, fairly rich and intense, yet transparent and nuanced, very refreshing and long. 95





2009 Montille Pommard 1er Cru Les Rugiens-bas:

Bright ruby. Tight and very fruity first, but fairly quickly developes into more pure red berries, floral notes and an almost transparent nose, very elegant. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, nuanced, fresh and lively, bit intense, fruity if still lean, refreshing, long finish. 93

1985 Grans-Fassian Leiwener Klostergarten Riesling Eiswein:
Golden amber. Apricots, honey, dried fruits, raisins, intense and rich nose. Fresh acidity, lively, fruity, elegant, vibrant, gorgeous and mouthwatering, long finish. 94

Pale golden, small bubbles. Apples, some minerals, yeast and yellow fruits nose.  Fresh acidity, smooth mousse, minerals apples and slightly bitter palate, long finish. 91

Ruby. Cassis, vanilla and blueberries nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, lovely balance, cassis palate, good length. May be kept another five to ten years. 88

Ruby, garnet rim. Scented, cassis and leather nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh, fruity, liquorice and cassis palate, good length. 89

Ruby. Cassis, leather and vanilla nose. Frsh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, fresh and a bit lean, good length, drink within three years. 85

2010 Château Beauregard Ducasse:
Ruby. Ripe nose, fruity and cassis. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, bit oaky and leaner palate, needs a year or two to work with the barrels, good length. 85

Pale lemon yellow. Apples and minerals nose. Fresh acidity, fruity, lively and elegant, rounded feel, good length. 86

Magic evening with 79 Champagne Charlie, 61 and 64 Conterno Barolo, 82 Gaja Sori Tildin, 88 and 86 VCC and much more.



A magic evening, one of those nights were one just forgets time and space, superb food and wines and great company and discussions. White truffles flown in from Alba over magic risotto, the best tongue from ox I've tasted, some magic flavours and textures on the table this evening.





1979 Charles Heidsieck Champagne Charlie:
Golden with amber hue, tiny bubbles. Brioche, nuts, apples, butter and seafront minerals, almost oysters behind. Fresh acidity, elegant mousse, bit bitter coffee and dark chocolate notes on palate before a flinty mineraly long finish. 93 ****

2002 Gaston Chique Blanc de Blancs:
(Magnum) Towards lemon yellow, tiny bubbles. Pure apples and minerals nose, bit tight, still fruity. Fresh acidity, tight but elegant mousse, fresh and lively, elegant, lovely and a bit rounded. Long. 91 ****


2000 Francois Jobard Meursault 1er Cru Charmes:
(Magnum) Pale golden. Apples, minerals, vanilla and an almost creamy note on the nose, more butter and lemons with air. Fresh acidity, rounded texture, fruity, lemony and quite intense, flinty, fresh and long. 92 ****

1982 Gaja Sori Tildin:
Bright ruby, broad garnet rim. Intense nose of tar, roses, figs and spicy notes, almost peppery and cinamon, anise and violets, intensely floral and fruity. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, lively, leaner palate, fresh, focused, slightly dry finish, long. 94 ****


1964 Giacomo Conterno Barolo:
Bright garnet, watery orange rim. VA and Musar like nose of red berries, tar, roses and anise. Fresh acidity, fine textured and stil grippy ripe tannins, structured, rounder fruit, volatile but not alarming, slightly dry finish. 91 ***

1961 Giacomo Conterno Barolo:
Pale bright garnet, thin orange rim. Scented, nuanced, tar, roses, layered, nuanced, lovely nose. Fresh acidity, fine grained tannins polishing off, a few still gives a little bite. Anise, flinty minerals, wood polish and teak, red berries, long floral and flinty finish. 94 ****


1985 Château Haut-Bailly:
Ruby, garnet rim. Cassis, figs, leather, minerals, nuanced and layered nose, complex, stunning. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity attack, fresh, lively, nuanced and elegant, long. Unfortunatelly my last bottle. 94 *****

1988 Vieux Château Certan:
Ruby, thin garnet rim. Scented, blueberries, anise, flirting, slight mint and herbal note behind. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, lively, leaner, nuanced and elegant, refined, lovely if a bit short. 91 ****


1986 Vieux Château Certan:
Ruby, thin garnet rim. Scented, nuanced, refined, flirting, complex, superb nose, gorgeous, you can smell it the whole evening. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, superb, refreshing, lively, lovely texture, love this wine, long indeed. 95 *****

2010 Cathiard Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts:
Ruby. Scented, floral, nuanced, refined and flirting nose, pure and gorgeous. Another one can smell the whole evening. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, fresh and lively, elegant and nuanced, refined, lovely, superb even, long. 95 *****


1995 Château Léoville Poyferré:
Ruby. Cassis, scented, leather, anise, violets, flirting and lovely nose, elegant. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, fresh, lively, bit structured still tannins could use another five years, long. 93 ****

2007 Roddolo Barolo:
Ruby. Tar, roses, mints, cherries and anise nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, ripe feel in a way, still maintain a cool freshness, dies off a bit in the finish. 91 ****


1966 ??? South-Africa Crusted Port:
Front label missing and back label torn. Deep ruby, thin orange rim. Hefty nose, intense of cassis, coffee and liquorice, dried fruits, massive. Fairly fresh aciditu, ripe tannins, intense and massive again, unbalanced and a slight cooked feel, probably not optimal storage, bitter chocolate finish. 87 ***

2002 Schoffit Clos Saint- Theobald Rangen de Thann Tokay Pinot Gris Selection de Grains Nobles:
Pale amber, orange hue. Apricots, nuts, floral, intense, wild strawberries nose. Fresh acidity, lively, playful, refined, especially for the grape variety, nuanced, bit burnt caramel that deepens the pure fruit more than interrupts, long finish. 94 *****

2009 Domaine de Trevallon:
Ruby. Spicy, fruity, plums, cherries and anise nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, ripe, refreshing and lovely balance, long. 91 ****

2003 Domaine de Trevallon:
Ruby, garnet rim. Scented, plums, figs and minerals nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh, fruity and structured, tight finish, less evolved than last bottle. 90 ****

Deep ruby. Floral, cassis, layered and nuanced nose, incredibly complex. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, intense, tight, fruity, fresh, superb balance, lively and long indeed. 96 ****

2001 Château Palmer:
Ruby, thin garnet rim. Scented, violets, tobacco and cigars, cassis, touch of leather nose. Superb. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, fresh and lively, nuanced, maturing but I would still keep it at least five more years to polish the tannins more, long. 94 *****

2011 Henri Darnat Bourgogne blanc:
Pale lemon yellow. Minerals, flinty notes, apples and lime nose. Fresh acidity, lively, flint and lemons palate, fresh, good length. 87

2011 Henri Darnat Meursault Clos du Domaine:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, fresh lemons and slightly floral nose. Fresh acidity, fresh, lively and quite intense minerality, flinty and long. 90

2011 Henri Darnat Meursault 1er Cru Clos Richemont:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals, rounded and flinty nose. Fresh acidity, fruity, intense palate, superb texture, fresh and lemony, flinty and smoky, almost creamy texture. The barrels might need a year or two to fully integrate. 92

2011 Henri Darnat Meursault 1er Cru Goutte d'Or:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals, focused, some flinty notes on the nose. Fresh acidity, apples, tight but fruity still. Intense minerality, fresh and lively, again it needs a year or two for the barrels to polish down. 93

Bright ruby. Red berries, scented, nuanceda nd elegant nose, floral. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, rounded and almost soft, fresh and lively, elegant, long. 90

Bright ruby. Red berries, nuanced, quite elegant nose, almost transparent. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant even if a bit grippy texture, good length. 88

I november kan vi tilby to fantastiske smakinger. Den første er med en av Toscana beste produsenter, selveste Avignonesi. Dette blir topp!
Siste smaking for i år er en stor messe med over 60 naturprodusenter med mange hundre forskjellige viner. Vi hadde en tilsvarende messe i fjor og det var en uforglemmelig opplevelse. Gå ikke glipp av denne messen i år.

    I samarbeid med Autentico kan vil tilby en smaking med Avignonesi. Alessio Guidi kommer ens ærend fra Italia for å fortelle oss om deres omlegging til økologisk bruk og økning av kvaliteten. Videre vil han guide oss gjennom hele 8 av deres viner.
  • Vinatur messe
    Fjorårets store suksess med naturviner blir gjentatt den 19. november. Dette er en messe du ikke bør gå glipp av.

Denne kvelden vil du få smake 8 forskjellige viner fra vinhusets portefølje, både i Alessio ferske og modne utgaver. Du vil også bli bedre kjent med vinhusets kontroversielle historie og få høre om hvordan de gikk fra å være en av Toscanas erkeklassiske topprodusenter av den gamle skolen for så å gjøre helomvending til økologisk drift med naturlig arbeid i vinmarker så vel som i vinkjelleren. Halvert produksjon, dobbelt så stort vinmarksareal, vinmarker fulle av blomster og urter, struttende, friske vinplanter og klokkeklare viner med finmasket karakter, er noen av de første resultatene etter taktskiftet. Med dette beviser de at biologisk og naturvennlig tilnærming ikke bare er for små eller spesielt interesserte produsenter.

Ruby. Blueberries, anise and an almost dill like note on the nose, minerals. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh fruit, elegant, lovely balance, blueberries and anise finish. Refreshing with a Temperanillo not hidden behind oak or extraction, good length. 88

2008 La Locomotora Riserva:
Deep ruby. Red berries, plums, blueberries and anise. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, bit rich, rounded, good length. 89

96 La Lagune

1996 Château La Lagune:
Ruby, garnet rim. Slightly scented, spices, bit woody notes under cassis and a faint floral note. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, rounded with air, starting to come together nicely, drinking really well now with air, bit rustic but that has it's charm. Long. 90

Ruby. Scented, cassis and more red berries fruit, leather, elegant and nuanced nose, lovely, almost flirting. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, textured, lively, bit biting still, long. 93

Ruby, thin garnet rim. Cassis, figs, leather, tobacco, superb nose, evolving nicely. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, elegant and lively palate, more rounded, long. Can be stored longer, very enjoyable now. 92

1996 Château Lanessan:
Ruby, garnet rim. Cassis, leather and a touch of cedar on the nose. Layered. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, quite a vibrant and alive feel to it, quite elegant, maturing, good length. 88

2001 Château Potensac:
Almost a house wine. Ruby, scented, cassis, leather, starting figs, evolving nicely. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, lively, refreshing and long. Slightly more evolved notes than two bottles in July. 90

2006 Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste:
Ruby. Scented, cassis, leather notes, floral and nuanced nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity and quite intense, loosing the 06 edge now, but still far to young. Wait four years or more. 92

2010 Perrin Côte-Rôtie

2010 Maison Nicolas Perrin Côte-Rôtie:
Deep ruby. Dark berries, spicy, liquorice nose, layered and rich feel to it. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, ripe, sweet, rich and ripe blackberries. Long. 90

Ruby. Red berries and scented nose, quite fresh. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, quite elegant and rounded texture and a somewhat fuller Mercurey. Good length. 87

2011 Faiveley Gevrey-Chambertin 1er cru Les Cazetiers:
Ruby. Floral, red berries, vanilla and spices nose, elegant even if the oak is showing. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, lively and again elegant texture, if slightly woody edgy finish. Needs a few years with the barrel notes. 90

1990 Château Suduiraut:
Amber golden. Apricots, fruity, vanilla, raisins and nuts nose, layered and complex. Fresh acidity, fruity and rounded, bit caramelly still but less burnt sugar than many bottles, fresher and a lovely floral note in the finish, long. 92

Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals, focused nose for Macon. Freshish acidity, fruitdriven even if leaner body, fairly focused again, good length. 84

Pale lemon yellow. Apples, tight, mineraly and focused nose, layered. Fresh acidity, fruity and rounded, leaner for CC, nuanced, bit smoky finish. Seems to be a new style at Faiveley? Long. 92

Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals, bit tight nose. Fresh acidity, fresh palate even if again a bit tight, lively, good length. Give it an hour in decanter. 87

Bright ruby. Red berries, scented, transparent, floral and nuanced nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, lively, nuanced, fresh and elegant, bit spicy finish. Refined. 94

1974 Château Musar:
Late release from Musar. Bright garnet, broad orange rim, lot's of sediments. Leather, anise, figs and almost flinty minerals beneath, dried red berries nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh, lively palate, cherry stones and leather, bit drying in the finish, this bottle is drink now. Long. 90

Pale lemon yellow. Quite fruity nose, more subdued minerals, yellow plums notes. Fresh acidity, bit oaky for the fruit and body, good length. 86

Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals and again fruity nose. Fresh acidity, fruity and fresh feel to it, good length. 88

2010 Jean Monnier Meursault 1er cru Genevrières:
Pale lemon yellow. Apples, minerals, vanilla and straight out wood on the nose. Fresh acidity, creamy texture, fruity and quite lively, the barrels are more hidden on the palate, ripe orange lemonade finish, good length. 89

Pale golden. Apples, minerals, apricots, fruity and intense nose. Fresh acidity, lively, refreshing and mouthwatering, gorgeous, pure and long. 94

Bright ruby. Smoky notes, red berries, vanilla, barrels a bit in your face. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresher palate where the fruit plays the mayor part, transparent feel for Pommard, bit raw finish. 89

2011 Pillot Pommard 1er Cru Rugiens:
Ruby. Vanilla, toast and spices on the nose, subdued red berries. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, oak overshadows all the way, structured, has it got enough fruit to overcome it? 82-90 depending on the fruit.

Ruby. Figs, blueberries and vanilla nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fresh feel even if vanilla notes are a bit up front. Good length. 86

2008 Château Marquis de Terme:
Ruby. Cassis, vanilla, coffee and slightly overshadowed by some barrel notes, but even so some floral notes can be detected. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, rounded and quite elegant for Marquis de Terme, bit more edgy finish. Give it four to seven more years to round off. 89
