2008 Château Desmirail:
Bright ruby. Scented, some oak on the nose and blueberries.
Freshish acidity, ripe tannins, quite elegant fruit but oak is a bit
overwhelming, oaky tannins, good length. 87
2009 Château Desmirail:
Ruby. Some raspberries, herbs and oak on the nose. Fresh
acidity, ripe tannins, fruity but tannic, ever so slightly rustic,
especially for the vintage, nice fruit, hopefully it will manage the
oak. 88
