Pale lemon yellow. Minerals, apples and a touch of vanilla. Freshish acidity, fruity, somewhat lean mid palate, good length. 85

2011 Pierre Labet Beaune Clos du Dessus des Marconnets Blanc:
Pale lemon yellow. Minerals, apples, some citrus and vanilla. Fresh acidity, fruity and lemony with vanilla "backbone", good length. 87

2011 Pierre Labet Meursault les Tillets:
Pale lemon yellow. Minerals, some flint, vanilla, touch smoky nose. Fresh acidity, fruity, lime and elegant body, long. 89-90

2011 Pierre Labet Bourgogne Pinot Noir Vielles Vignes:
Bright ruby. Fruity nose, red berries, fresh. Very refreshing acidity, lively, ripe tannins, elegant, lovely finish. 86

Bright ruby. Some strawberries, touch of minerals and vanilla on the nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant fruit, refreshing and nuanced, good length. 87+

Bright ruby. Some strawberries, a touch of herbs behind, minerals, elegant nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, refreshing and elegant, lovely fruit, good length. 88

Bright ruby. Scented, strawberries, floral notes and a touch of vanilla. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, slightly grippy right now, elegant fruit, good length. 89

Barrel sample. Bright ruby. Vanilla high notes, fruity and minerals. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, rounded texture, good length. 88



2012 Château de La Tour Clos de Vougeot:
Barrel sample. Bright ruby. Scented, floral, fruity and vanilla nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, still it's very structured, long. 91

2008 Château de La Tour Clos de Vougeot:
Bright ruby. Scented, some plums and ripe strawberries, complex. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity but also structured, tannins need another ten years to calm down, long finish. 92

2002 Château de La Tour Clos de Vougeot Vielles Vignes:
Bright ruby, garnet rim. Intense and fruity nose, strawberries, some spices and vanilla, scented and floral nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, intense and structured. Full bodied for Burgundy, long. 93+
