2011 Château Tertre Roteboeuf:

Deep ruby. Blueberries, fruity and scented nose, a bit oaky right now. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, elegant and fruity, long. A bit tight now. 93

2011 Roc de Cambes:

Deep ruby. Fruity, scented and layered nose, elegant. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity and refreshing palate, very elegant but slightly oaky now. 91

2011 Domaine des Cambes:

Ruby. Some vanilla and raspberries on the nose, nuanced. Fresh acidity, ripe annins, elegant and fruity, quite pure feel to it. 90

2001 Château Tertre Roteboeuf:

Francois Mitjaville asked me if i wanted to taste a more mature vintage on my last visit, so I asked for this one. Ruby with garnet rim. Leaps out of the glass. Figs, leather, cassis, blueberries, intense and layered nose, gorgeous.fresh acidity, ripe tannins, evolving lovely, refreshing, nuanced and flirting, a true pleasure. 94
