2003 Domaine de Chevalier;
Deep ruby, fresh mineral nose, great intencity of sweet tobacco and cigars over cassis, some pine trees in the back. Acidity could be higher, very ripe tannins, but this holds it together more than most 03's, seems a bit fresher. 89
2005 Chateau La Lagune;
Deep ruby, fantastic nose, some red plums, red berries, hints of vanilla, blackcurrants and hints of herbs and violets. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, well balanced and long, elegant finish. Probably the best La Lagune I have had. 91
