Chateau Figeac 04, 95 and 89

2004 Chateau Figeac;
Ruby. Dark berries, chocolate, vanilla, sweet anis, drops, some artificial fruits, cinamon and spices. Big nose. Ok acidity, lot's of tannins, a bit green and bell peppers and some unripe tannins show in the back and aftertaste. Not quite together it seems. 88

1995 Chateau Figeac;
Dark ruby, garnet rim. Perfumed, jamy, strawberries, liquorice, vanilla, cherries and coctail berries. Intense nose. Ok acidity, ripe tannins, sweetish fruit, very ripe, some coffee, texture like velvet. I would like more complexity and length 89

1989 Chateau Figeac;
Ruby with brick rim. Mature, dried fruits, leather, coffee, almost intense and opulent liquorice and a bit sweetish. Better acidity and fresher than it's nose, mature ripe tannins, some hardwood lacquer. A bit short finish. 87
